Mission Statement

The mission of Film Community Network, also known as Carolina Film Community, is to meet regularly with one another so that we may create film, encourage filmmaking, and assist in the education and interest of films in our communities.

Description

Since 2009, Carolina Film Community has met monthly with experienced guest speakers in the film industry to educate the attendees and community on films and filmmaking. We also hold in house film contests that encourage our local filmmakers to a friendly competition against one another that results in cash prizes to help those filmmakers continue to pursue their next filmmaking endeavor.
We have hosted podcasts, filmmaking panels, festivals and won many awards in our time together as an organization.
