Mission Statement

Every Ability Plays Project aims to expand the world of play for children with disabilities through accessible equipment in their neighborhood playgrounds, communities, as well as their own backyards. Through EAPP, children will have endless possibilities to develop alongside peers without barriers.

Description

We purchase special playground equipment for children with physical disabilities for their neighborhood parks, homes and schools.

Our first project of 2021 will be purchasing the We-Go-Swing Wheelchair swing for Casa Angelica. Casa Angelica is a home that houses 16 children, and young adults with very special needs. The We-Go-Swing Wheelchair swing costs $60,000.

Our second project will be redoing the school playground at Colinas del Norte Elementary School in Rio Rancho, New Mexico. They want their playground to be accessible for their side by side students. Every Ability Plays Project has offered to purchase a wheelchair swing, 2 adaptive swings, a wheelchair slide and putting them a playground ground so that it can be easier to push their students who are in wheelchairs. This school playground project will cost $115,000.
