Description Patient Volunteers provide friendly visits to hospice patients in their homes or long-term healthcare facilities, to provide companionship and support both the patient and their families. Qualifications Volunteers must possess the ability to actively listen and communicate compassionately with patients, families, and caregivers. They must be able to work well as a part of our interdisciplinary team. They must also possess emotional maturity and sensitivity while also respecting the beliefs of the patients and their families. Volunteers should be dependable and have reliable transportation to ensure they are able to complete scheduled visits.
