Make a REAL difference in your community and in the life of an older adult needing tech help! We are recruiting volunteers to help with technology related tasks for older adults living on the Palos Verdes Peninsula. Help older adults with things like their iPhones, printers, television, and more. Give an hour or two and make an impact. Volunteers can volunteer when their schedule permits - with no minimum number of hours needed to complete. We do ask volunteers sign up for a year commitment. Volunteers must be over 21 years old with no criminal background. The Palos Verdes Peninsula Village is a nonprofit dedicated to creating a "community within a community" for older adults living on the Peninsula. We are a vibrant group of people who have joined together for connection, learning, friendship and support.

Make an incredible difference in the life of an older adult! We are recruiting volunteers to drive people to medical appointments, the grocery store, or other errands around the Palos Verdes Peninsula, Torrance and Redondo Beach areas. Volunteer around your schedule! You won't find a more flexible volunteer opportunity. As a PVP Village volunteer driver you can volunteer when it fits in your schedule! You can volunteer as little or as much as you'd like on the days and times that work for you. As most of our rides are to medical appointments, the vast majority of rides are from Monday - Friday from 8:30 am - 4 pm. We are recruiting caring individuals with a clean driving record and no criminal background for a meaningful and flexible opportunity. Training and support provided. As part of a network of close to 400 Villages across the country, PVP Village is in its 6th year as a non-profit membership-based and volunteer supported organization. We offer opportunities for meaningful social and educational engagement and volunteer support services that allow our members to remain independent in the homes they love.
