Mission Statement

MISSION: NexxtOne Academy works to develop Black and Latina/o youth through science, technology, engineering, arts, athletics, and math (STEAAM) programs. VISION: We see a future where young people are change agents who will transform communities. VALUES: NexxtOne Academy is guided and informed by our beliefs and commitments to these principles. * Equity: All youth to have the right to equitable education in science, technology, engineering, arts, athletics, and math. * Opportunity: All youth deserve the opportunity to achieve their boldest dreams. * Access: Youth learn in different ways and we value access to different educational experiences. * Integrity: We operate the organization with integrity in our programs and service delivery.

Description

We realize that the youth of today are the builders of our future. That landscape will best be served by students who are offered robust experiences across different fields of study. We share the benefits of exploring, learning, and studying science, technology, engineering, and math, with DC middle and high school students. We help them uncover the intersections and connections between STEM, athletics, and the arts.
