Job brief: We are looking for a talented Junior Web Designer to assist us in building and maintaining a new Wix website. Your role is to work with our Marketing and Copywriting team to create a custom, functional website. Ultimately, you will be able to increase web traffic, and bring more interest towards our organization’s services. Responsibilities: Designing of our proposed 10-page website (including Blog, Newsletter forms, Submission forms) Work with the Marketing and Copywriting teams to add photos and copy onto the website Advise our team on the best practices on creating an optimized Wix website Resolve bugs or defects related to the website Requirements: 1+ years experience with website design Experience with using Wix to create a functional website Good collaboration, teamwork, and learning skills Bonus: Image processing skills and experience with Adobe Suite

Often, the media continually churns out stories that are the most sensational- capturing only the extreme elements of a community. CSLS aims to balance the media’s stories and provide more representative coverage of the community by curating and sharing stories and articles about volunteers and other topics related to volunteerism. The writer will contribute content that will be shared on our public-facing platforms, including our social media, blog, newsletters, digital community magazine, and in-print marketing material. English major students and recent graduates in the writing field would be perfect for this portfolio-building opportunity. We can provide a reference letter if needed. Job brief: We are looking for a talented content writer to be a megaphone for volunteerism. They will use the power of storytelling to tell positive, heartwarming stories that people care about. They may be researching, interviewing, and/or writing a story about a volunteer’s specific volunteer impact or writing about general volunteerism topics.
