Are you interested in leading a free online tutoring club at your high school or college and gaining the leadership role of founder/president? Then sign up for this opportunity and create a Connect Me chapter at your school! Connect Me is a free online tutoring and mentoring nonprofit that serves underprivileged children within grades K-8. Students sign up for tutoring, and are paired with a volunteer tutor that gives them online lessons via Zoom once a week. We were born during the darkest times of the pandemic, and will emerge into the light and beyond. By starting a high school chapter, you'll be responsible for three main tasks. 1) You'll recruit and manage volunteer tutors from your school. 2) You'll design cool fundraisers to raise money for the nonprofit. 3) You'll train the tutors from your school in various teaching techniques. You choose what days/times to tutor, how many hours per week you want to tutor, and which subject(s) to tutor in! We handle the communication between parents, so we're not going to make you contact students yourself and schedule your sessions from the ground up! After signing up, all you'd do is wait for us to pair you with a student and give you the Zoom link and day/time of your classes! Then, you can start racking up the hours! For the more ambitious volunteers, we also have leadership positions available on a rolling basis! Once you've tutored for a bit and shown dedication, you'll be eligible to apply for the Connect Me Board, with opportunities to work all the way up to the Executive Board!

We operate completely virtually, meaning you can work from wherever in the world, whether that be Alabama or Antarctica!
