The Ramonce Taylor Youth Association is a new, non-profit organization serving the community through the Bell County area. We are a youth sports and mentoring program for ages 4-18. We will compete in tournaments at the local, regional, and State level. As an organization, we are committed to providing a positive environment with a strong emphasis on team unity, leadership skills, and the importance of education. Our volunteer coaches and mentors encourage players to excel as student-athletes. Today's youth are tomorrow's leaders, and through personalized attention and guidance, RTYA is essentially providing them with all the resources they need to thrive as leaders in years to come.
The Ramonce Taylor Youth Association is a community-based, comprehensive 501(c) non-profit organization that enriches the lives of youth ages 4-18 by providing student-athletic enrichment programs and services in communities confronting high rates of poverty and other barriers to athletic achievement. And through our programs, we will strive to provide a full range of regular leagues and special events designed with its members’ interests in mind. With the importance of academics, social skills, better health and physical fitness, and the improvement of the social relations, teamwork and management skills, sportsmanship and promote better cultural/gender awareness.
Our programs will be free and provide our members a safe haven to play sports and our coaches/staff instills in them the goals of empowering themselves and teaches them how to demonstrate sportsmanship and excellent social skills through sports.
Our programs will focus on development in the following areas:
Academic, Mentorship and Athletic Enrichment (Flag/ Tackle Football, Cheer, Basketball and Track)
Competition, Sportsmanship and Life
The Importance of Physical Fitness & Nutrition
