Mission Statement

Vets Chat Inc's mission is to improve the lives of veterans, active military and family members through better nutrition, new networking opportunities and community building. We do this through The Vets Chat & Chew Program.

Vets Chat Inc. has been operating since 2015 as a 501-c-3 non-profit organization. We have helped hundreds of veterans, active military and their family members have better health and lead more productive lives. We do this through The Vets Chat & Chew Program. The program is six weeks and the same group of participants attend once a week for two hours. The main focus of the program is food, how it can make you feel, and how to select and prepare it. Participants cook with a professional chef and a nutritionist advises. A counselor teaches relaxation techniques.

Many of our past participants have reported better doctor reports, less pain, better digestive issues, less depression and anxiety, better sleep, less intense and fewer PTSD episodes.

Besides the food, The Vets Chat & Chew Program offers the much needed camaraderie that veterans want.
