Mission Statement

Our mission is to offer HOPE, HELP AND HEALING to women in recovery from addiction. We do this by providing one-year free services in a small group setting to support women as they transition to a healthy, drug-free life.

Description

OpenDoor is a licensed user of the Open Table model; a model of change that has been successful in transforming lives across the country for almost 20 years.

We recruit and train volunteers to become part of a small group (a Table) to befriend a woman who is in recovery from addiction. Tables meet once a week for one hour to offer love, support, friendship, and guidance.

The uniqueness of our model is that it is NOT one-on-one mentoring. Each Table works as a team of advocates who bring their own life experiences, connections and friendship to the Table.
