RISE Travel Institute is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization with a mission to inspire responsible, impactful, sustainable, and ethical travel through education. We are looking for an experienced Website Administrator to join our team. You will work with a dedicated and talented team in a remote setting. Click to: Apply to volunteer with RISE Travel Institute Responsibilities Collaborate with Executive Director and Operations team members to support campaigns and business goals. Update and maintain accurate, secure, and functional website content. Implement user-friendly interfaces and enhance the overall site experience. Monitor and optimize website speed, responsiveness, and accessibility. Manage and update website content and ensure alignment with brand guidelines. Optimize for SEO and analyze metrics to identify improvements. Address technical issues, updates, and ensure site security. Lead website projects, including redesigns, new features, and 3rd party integrations. Demonstrate a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion through continuous learning and ongoing personal development, modeling inclusive behaviors, and proactively managing bias Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Web Development, Computer Science, Marketing, or related field. 3+ years of experience in website management or a similar role. Proficiency in creating and managing websites on Wix platform. Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS. Creative problem-solver with a focus on user experience and design principles. Ability to collaborate effectively across operations teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Time Commitment The Website Administrator is expected to commit at least 4 hours per week to do website work for RISE. Other important information This is an unpaid position. We are looking for a Human Resources Administrator to join our team at RISE Travel Institute. You will be working closely with our Manager of People and Culture and will be responsible for supporting volunteer recruitment, engagement, and other HR projects. If you have the passion and knowledge and would like to join our team in mainstreaming sustainable travel through education, we’d be happy to have you on board! Responsibilities Provide support in volunteer recruitment, on-boarding, engagement, retention, recognition, and offboarding processes Prepare documents relating to RISE HR and DEI policies and procedures Respond to internal and external HR & volunteer related queries in a timely, professional and confidential manner Work with the Executive Director and Manager of People and Culture in implementation of HR and DEI programs Support with HR and DEI projects, as and when required Attend HR and DEI related meetings as and when required Demonstrate a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion through continuous learning and ongoing personal development, modeling inclusive behaviors, and proactively managing bias Demonstrate experience or genuine interest in responsible, impactful, sustainable, and ethical travel and tourism Requirements Bachelor degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field Previous experience (1-2 years) as an administrative assistant/HR assistant or in human resources/volunteer management Strong editing, writing, and verbal communication skills Comfortable using Slack, Google Docs, Gmail, recruitment systems Able to communicate and follow process to meet deadlines and schedules Well-organized and systems-oriented; experience with Zapier a plus Maturity and discretion in managing confidential data including staff data Time Commitment: The Human Resource Administrator is expected to commit at least 4 hours per week.
