Mission Statement

What We Do: The Mission of Project Linus is two-fold. First to provide love, warmth, and comfort to children who are seriously ill, traumatized, or otherwise in need of a sense of security. This is done through the gift of new, handmade blanket created by our Blanketeers.Secondly, it is our goal to provide a rewarding and fun opportunity for interested individuals and groups. While some volunteers come to the chapter with beginning skills and some are highly skilled, ALL have a desire to help a child. Making a difference in our community, one child and one blanket at a time. Who We Are: Our Blanketeers make blankets and teddy bears for children in Solano County. Blankets are hand-made throughout the month and brought to our monthly meetings to get them labeled and ready to be delivered. Our monthly meetings are held on the 2nd Sunday of each month.Our blankets are made for children from new born to age 18 and distributed by approximately 25 groups throughout Solano County.
