Mission Statement

The mission of In His Hands Global Ministries (IHHGM) is to provide grace and hope to economically disadvantaged families by providing encouragement, food, clothing, life skills, recreation and more. With emphasis on at-risk youth and women of single parent households, it is our mission to provide after school programming that will help youth to develop into dynamic leaders of excellence and forward thinking world changers.

Description

Through partnerships with local churches, the Chicago Park District and World Vision we have serviced thousands of youth in the West Englewood community of Chicago. Since 2015, we have provided weekly hot meals and recreational activities such as basketball, softball and dance to at-risk youth. Through various initiatives we have provided school tuition/uniform assistance, school supplies, household essentials, dental and eyecare services, as well as purchasing new beds and bedding. Twice a month we offered free haircuts for boys and hair grooming for girls. Youth was provided hygiene packets and were taught how to care for and maintain their body. Each year we have sponsored "Christmas Care" which provides Christmas dinner and presents to hundreds of youth, parents and homeless adults. Finally, through biblical teachings we have witnessed roughly 400 youth give their life to Christ.
