The Children's Heart Foundation's mission is to advance the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of congenital heart defects by funding the most promising research. To learn more about this event visit the walk page at 2024 St. Louis Congenital Heart Walk Please review the available slots at here. Volunteer opportunities span from 6:00am-12:30pm on September 28, 2024. Please feel free to sign up for more than one slot if the roles are consecutive (for example, Set up at 600am and then Registration, Check-In and Incentives at 7:30am). Volunteers 13 and under must be accompanied by a parent. All volunteers are required to sign a Waiver, and for volunteers under age 18, the waiver must be signed by a parent. The Children's Heart Foundation is holding our family-friendly annual Nashville Congenital Heart Walk at Edwin Warner Park on Saturday, September 21st. The event brings together the community to raise awareness and support those affected by congenital heart defects. Our foundation funds research to advance the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of congenital heart defects which is incredibly important as heart defects are the number 1 birth defect in the US, impacting 1 in 110 babies or 40,000 babies per year. We're looking for volunteers to help the morning of the walk! Opportunities include event setup, event tear down, help at our activities and refreshment tents, tshirt/registration, and more. Please consider joining us for what will be a memorable event for an important cause!
