Our mission is to enable better treatment options for lymphoma patients and promote diversity in cancer research.

Description

The Chike Springer Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit and our vision is to save thousands of lives through improved treatment outcomes. We are accomplishing this by partnering with the Lymphoma Research Foundation to fund lymphoma research that focuses on underserved populations including adolescents and young adults (AYAs), veterans, and racial and ethnic minority groups with cancer to address issues of health equity.

I've volunteered at the Chike Springer Foundation regularly over the last year, and the founder and president, Lyndsay, is a fantastic person to work with. She started this foundation in honor of her late husband, Chike Springer, and in less than 2 years, she had the Chike Springer Foundation funding a full year of research for a doctor focused on lymphoma in Latin America and outcome disparities for people of color. Everyone involved in the organization is passionate about their mission to improve lymphoma treatment outcomes and increase diversity in cancer research, and it has been rewarding to see the organization make progress and to be a part of that growth.
