We envision a stronger future for our community through a skilled and engaged workforce, plentiful housing opportunities and thriving volunteerism. Facilitating groups and collaborating with individuals, organizations, and businesses to incubate and develop projects and programs that serve our community in unique ways. Our purpose is to empower eager community participants in the betterment of their lives, offering engaging opportunities in: • volunteerism & skill-building • engagement in meaningful local economic stimulus projects, • practice in making incremental changes that help them live efficiently and abundantly.

Description

We have been building our connections in the community with Listening to Learn projects, collaborating with other organizations and identifying where we can facilitate specific projects that will be beneficial. One of our programs is Rogue Innovation Hub. Out of necessity it has become a three pronged program -Construction Connection Crew, gathering The Makers in the Community and structuring a Business Incubator/Accelerator. The Construction Connection Crew is a standing team of community members with varing degrees of experience in shelter/housing construction that can come together to build livable spaces for people in our community. Currently we are seeking volunteers to be part of the on-call volunteer construction team to build these spaces. Requires strong commitment to organizations goals, must have own health insurance, identifiable construction experience or be willing to participate in a construction fundamentals program, be wiling to participate in a monthly committee meeting, and participate in active build projects.
