Gentiva Hospice has volunteer opportunities in Hamilton, Bradley, McMinn, Meigs, and Polk counties. Come join us at Gentiva Hospice and help support the staff who are serving those receiving Hospice care. We're in need of kind, compassionate and capable folks who enjoy office work: answering phones, copying, filing, addressing envelopes, creating a fun place for hospice personnel to work. Assist service providers with administrative support. Only things necessary are a willing heart and a good attitude. Training will be provided.

Gentiva Hospice has volunteer opportunities in Hamilton, Bradley, McMinn, Meigs, and Polk counties. Gentiva Hospice is looking for those who might be interested in sitting with patients who are in a home setting while family members take a much needed respite from care. There is no responsibility attached to this kind of volunteering (you will not be expected to do housework, run errands, etc). The only thing needed is a few hours of your time to allow family members to have lunch with friends, shop, or run errands without worry about their loved one. CDC recommended Covid 19 guidelines are followed and upheld by Kindred Staff and Volunteers. Volunteers can visit with patients in Hamilton, Bradley, Polk, and Miegs Counites based on their preferences. Please Note: We would be more than happy to work with students and faculty to create additional volunteer opportunities in addition to the opportunities listed above. Come join us at Gentiva Hospice and provide phone call checks with our patients to ensure they have everything they need in between their scheduled nursing visits. These phone calls can be conducted from your home or here at our office in Chattanooga and Cleveland Tennessee. We hope to hear from you soon! Assist service providers with administrative support.
