The King's Table at New Birth Church

The King’s Table ("TKT") Food Ministry was established in January 2020 to provide food and meals for persons in need. As a result of the Covid-19 Pandemic, TKT quickly went from providing meals for about 30 families per week to 300 in March 2020. After a few short months of operation, TKT began serving approximately 1000 households on a weekly basis at New Birth Missionary Baptist Church in Lithonia, GA. Between shortages at the local food banks, and lack of refrigeration or dry storage, with the support of major sponsors and government grants, TKT became a resource for more than 60 partner organizations. With the help of our community partners, The King’s Table distributed food to nearly 8000 households every week, for a total of more than 600,000 families in 2020. Through a partnership with WorldVision, TKT is honored to be designated as the distribution hub for the Southeast Region. With more people returning to work, our volunteer base has dwindled so we need more manpower to help with food box assembly.
