Visits for Seniors --We have been in existence since 2018. Our We were making monthly visits which included musical performances, projects and small gifts (toiletries, socks, toothpaste) for every Senior in nursing home and Veteran’s home facilities in the Jacksonville and St. Augustine areas. We were visiting over 400 people each month (4 facilities) but there are many more who are hoping to be included.

Why do we bring small gifts?----Did you know that a Senior in a nursing home who does not have outside resources cannot obtain the simplest items. We chose toiletries to avoid food allergies and to be able to get the same thing for all rather than personalize. The cards we bring stay on their bulliten boards until our next visit.

Why provide music?----The musical performances bring the Seniors together and gave them an event to make them smile. Once they are together it is easier to visit and have something to talk about.

Why do we visit every month? Many of the Seniors in the nursing homes get few if any visitors. Churches and schools visit during the holidays but no one is there regularly. Without regular interaction they become more and more isolated.
