Mission Statement

Rinyo is dedicated to the preservation and promotion of the endangered Syriac language (Aramaic/Assyrian), and Mesopotamian culture.

Description

Rinyo believes in unity, teamwork, and progress. Rinyo is an independent organization that is not affiliated with any religious and political entities.
Rinyo nourishes the richness of the multiple dialects of the language. Rinyo started by creating all its products in two main dialects (Eastern and Western)- and plans to add more dialects in the future.
Rinyo adopts the universally accepted name of the language, "Syriac", but welcomes all other names and affirms them as the same language.
Rinyo understands that the Syriac-speaking community is a descendant of great Mesopotamian civilizations that contributed to world heritage for thousands of years.
"Rinyo" means "idea" "thought" or "concept", and this is why Rinyo always welcomes new ideas to further advance its purpose.
Rinyo believes in the inherent talent of the community and enthusiastically searches to cultivate it to further strengthen the community from within.
Rinyo cherishes the right of all indigenous people to save their endangered language.
