Mission Statement

We raise funds to protect and defend endangered wildlife in Africa and the communities they impact. What makes us unique is that we create mini documentaries of each project we support, to share with our donors. Every donor should see the positive impact of their generosity.

Description

We are only entering our fourth year, but we have been busy! We have purchased bicycles for rangers in the Northern Kruger, purchased boots and much needed supplies for anti-poaching rangers in Kwa Zulu Natal, SA. We have built a crèche for children in SA and a water filtering system in Kenya. We have purchased copious amounts of food and supplies for orphaned rhinos and other young wildlife affected by poacher crimes. We have supported the stellar work of Dr Johan Marais of Saving the Survivors as well as wildlife warrior, Petronel Nieuwoudt of Care For Wild. We have now funded two educational rhino dehorning days for community children to attend and understand the crisis. Ordinarily, this is for rich tourists and they would never have the opportunity to see their wildlife up close to learn the value of their iconic animals and understand why dehorning is not optimum, but necessary.

Perhaps our proudest raise was being a part of IAPF and Damien Mander’s first fundraiser for his all female anti-poaching unit, the Akashinga

This year we have expanded our org to become a volunteer staff of 12. With that growth our vision has expanded to also focus on youth education, female leaders of color and awareness of the critical state of our endangered animals.

We have also just partnered with One Tree Planted. Now, for every new member who signs up with us, a tree will be planted. Ecology and biodiversity go hand in hand with animal advocacy!
