Mission Statement

The City Plan staff members serve the citizens of Dearborn by providing comprehensive analysis and recommendations regarding all land use issues related to city development. The principal goal in this process is to create a balanced, interrelated environment of the highest quality for the citizens of Dearborn in which to live, work and play.

Description

Established in 2948, Camp Dearborn, the City's unique 626-acre recreational retreat in Milford, offers a wide range of overnight camping options, including rustic and resort cabins, as well as sites for camper provided tents and trailers. Camp Dearborn's exceptional amenities include; a half-mile of sandy beach, athletic fields and tennis courts, shaded picnic areas, swimming and fishing lakes, concession stand, miniature golf course and a 27-hole championship golf course. Camp Dearborn includes 117 Military Style Tents which are set-up during the spring for campers.
