To partner with women and expectant families in Texas for improved maternal health outcomes.
The vision behind Push Birth Partners (Push) began with its Founder & President, Jacqueline McLeeland, who was introduced to the field of public health after becoming a mom. Recognizing some of the gaps within the health care system, she wanted to have a voice in providing a solution for all women and expectant families, particularly women who encounter added barriers to quality maternal care.
Headquartered in Houston, Texas, Push was officially established in 2020 and received its 501(c)(3) designation during the COVID-19 pandemic. Push is in its pre-launch phase and preparing to roll out its virtual services in 2021. Having a focus on moms and moms-to-be, Push's purpose is to build a trusted partnership and support system for the improvement of maternal health experiences and outcomes-because every birthing family deserves a trusted partnership; before, during, and after pregnancy.
