Mission Statement

The ENOUGH Initiative seeks to prevent domestic violence before it happens as well as raise awareness and create change in societal viewpoints about domestic violence. The ENOUGH Initiative provides both virtual and in person dating/domestic violence education and prevention programs to high schools, colleges, youth groups and other organizations. ENOUGH also provides victims and survivors of intimate partner violence with support on their journeys to freedom from abuse by providing resources, information, support groups, workshops and victim and survivor resilience retreats.

Description

The ENOUGH Initiative offers comprehensive Domestic Violence Awareness and Prevention presentations to schools, colleges and youth groups on a sliding scale basis. All ENOUGH Initiative educational presentations include information on identifying and avoiding the red flags of abusive relationship and what to do if audience members themselves or someone they know is in an abusive relationship. The ENOUGH Initiative believes that victim and survivor empowerment is critical in preventing survivors of abuse from entering back into abusive relationships. Creating connections with other survivors who have lived through similar experiences creates the best culture for healing and growth. The ENOUGH Initiative offers free monthly survivor gatherings across eastern Michigan as well as scheduled workshops and retreats focused on building resilience and empowerment.
