Cape Abilities' mission is to serve individuals with disabilities on Cape Cod by educating, counseling and providing residential, therapeutic, social and employment supports that empower them to achieve meaningful and valued roles in the community. Our core values of compassion, inclusion, innovation, integrity and respect guide all of our activities.
Since 1969 Cape Abilities has provided services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, currently serving more than 400 people. We offer multiple programs and services including Life Skills Day Habilitation, Pre-Employment and Vocational Training, Community Based Day Services, Job Placement and Supported Employment, Transportation and a range of Residential Services including 24/7 Group Homes, Independent Living, Adult Family Care (AFC) and Shared Living. We also operate four innovative businesses to meet the needs of individuals with disabilities seeking meaningful employment opportunities, including the Cape Abilities Farm in Dennis MA and the Cape Abilities Thrift Store in West Yarmouth MA.
