Furnish and decorate homes for people who are transitioning from homelessness. We also work with youth who are about to or have aged-out of the foster care system.
Description
Welcome Home Dayton was founded in 2017 by April M. Alford. April and her mom were homeless when April was a child. There was one person who was very helpful during this time. April made a vow to give back to her community when she became an adult. Welcome Home Dayton was founded out of a passion to help those who are transitioning from homelssness. If we can take away the pressure of furnishing a home, it will allow our clients to be able to direct their energy in other areas. We are changing lives, one home at a time.
