Our mission is to engage and educate the Cobb community, providing them with the knowledge, opportunities, and resources to implement responsible water practices that protect and conserve our water resources. We envision a community in which all residents and businesses value our water resources, upholding with integrity their responsibility for water quality, conservation, and environmental health.
Cobb County Water System (CCWS) is located in Cobb County, Georgia. The Water System as an agency of Cobb County Government is a utility operation responsible for water distribution, wastewater collection and treatment, and stormwater management.
Cobb County Water System’s Communications & Education Division (CED) is comprised of three teams: Communications, Water Efficiency, and Watershed Stewardship. Together, this group educates the community about issues impacting local water quality & conservation, fosters good habits & responsible behaviors, and promotes an ethic of respect for our natural resources. If you are passionate about the environment and care about water quality, you'd be an excellent fit for our service opportunities. We deeply appreciate our volunteers, because they are critical in helping make our vision below a reality. Join us!
