The Social Media Specialist plays a crucial role in advancing Imperfect's mission and goals through strategic and engaging online presence. This role will be provided direction from the committee chair. Below are the specific responsibilities associated with this role: Regularly manage and update Imperfect's current social media platforms, primarily focusing on Facebook and Instagram, to ensure content relevance and freshness. Work collaboratively with the team to devise and execute social media strategies that align with Imperfect's mission, goals, and target audience, driving brand awareness and engagement. Offer expert advice and guidance on leveraging various social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn) to maximize brand visibility, reach, and engagement. Collaborate with fellow board members and committees to integrate social media seamlessly into overall communication and marketing strategies, ensuring consistency and synergy across channels. Create and curate compelling content, including posts, images, videos, and stories, that resonate with Imperfect's supporters and stakeholders, maintaining an authentic and engaging online presence. Attend Events and create content related to the work Imperfect does that is posted to our platforms Annual Women's Conference - September 14, 2024 Fundraising Event - October 19, 2024 Expectations would be to create a monthly post outside any special activities. By fulfilling these responsibilities, the Social Media Specialist plays a vital role in enhancing Imperfect's online visibility, engagement, and impact, ultimately advancing its mission and goals within the community and beyond.

For this season, we have two specific events that we will require volunteer coordination with: 1. Annual Women's conference - September 14, 2024 2. Fundraising event - October 19, 2024 Specific responsibilities regarding the volunteer coordinator role The coordinator will assign volunteers based on the interested area they chose. The coordinator will develop and manage volunteer schedules, ensuring that there is adequate coverage for various tasks and events.
