Mission Statement

Gay For Good energizes and mobilizes the LGBTQ+ community to interact with the greater community by volunteering our time to various social welfare and environmental service projects. We hope to, over time, support goodwill and understanding between the LGBTQ+ and greater city communities through regular collaborative volunteer service projects.

Description

Gay For Good engages the LGBTQ+ community in volunteerism to enhance LGBQT+ visibility, cultivate understanding and build positive relationships between diverse groups of people. We provide training and resources to diverse community leaders who facilitate inclusive volunteer experiences for LGBTQ+ people, allies, and others to volunteer together in the communities where we live and work. Gay For Good has partnered with more than five-hundred nonprofits, logging thousands of volunteer hours in seventeen chapter communities throughout the USA, and we are steadily growing to become leaders in making a social impact.
