From The Bottom Up was the title of the debut album from the Grammy nominated and award winning R&B group Brownstone. As one of the founding members of Brownstone, Nicci Gilbert who hails from Detroit, MI has stayed true to her humble beginnings and has never forgotten the struggle and hard work that it takes to reach the top - from the bottom up. From The Bottom Up Foundation was created by Nicci Gilbert Daniels with this journey in mind. Our purpose is to provide support, tools and support for BIPOC women and girls. We are at the intersection of purpose and empowerment. We believe that the universe rotates on the powerful feminine energy that women possess.
