The Latinos LEAD concept was developed by founder and board chair Patrick Salazar, an executive search professional with more than 25 years of senior nonprofit management and consulting experience. Salazar, along with his board colleagues and other volunteers, carried out more than a year of research, strategic planning and program development and formally launched Latinos LEAD in the spring of 2018. Latinos LEAD is committed to ongoing objective and thorough evaluation of all its programs and services and shares the findings with model initiatives, other researchers, and the general public.

Programming Summary: Latinos LEAD collaborates with nonprofit organizations to achieve two fundamentally crucial and interrelated outcomes: 1) Recruit and train highly-qualified Latino board members; and, 2) Foster their success and retention through formal mentoring and by helping nonprofits initiate customized inclusion blueprints.
