To celebrate our ten year anniversary, we are adding a new program in 2024 to our existing portfolio of programs and service offerings! This new program in and of itself will add long term complexities and resource demands; therefore, we are recruiting an army of volunteers to help us with this endeavor! We are looking for a six month commitment for this role as you'll be part of a TEAM of Volunteer Officers. This allows for collaboration, workload sharing (so no set schedule and a sharing of ideas). This commitment helps to ensure the success of this endeavor and will help you see the results of your labor; the saving of animal lives. There is no other experience like it on earth! Requirements A six month commitment is required for this role At least 5 years of experience in volunteer management At least 3 years recruiting, engagement and retainment experience specific to volunteers Role Description These are remote volunteer roles for Chief Volunteer Officers for The Animal Cause, Inc. The Chief Volunteer Officers will be responsible for managing aspects of the Organization's volunteer program(s), training volunteers via Volunteer Coordinators, (and other applicable roles) and all strategic planning concerning volunteers. The Chief Volunteer Officers will work closely with the executive board and collaborate with other organizations to develop; executing a comprehensive strategy to achieve our mission to reform animal welfare. Responsibilities: Responsible for TAC, Inc.’s compliance with all regulatory and compliance requirements pertaining to volunteer recruitment. Ensuring that all volunteer personnel maintain the culture of the Organization to ensure that we develop trust in a fully virtual work environment. Ensuring the compliance of established policies and procedures. Manage oversight of the hiring and onboarding process of new volunteers. Oversee training and retention of volunteers. Ensuring volunteer job pipelines are always full of new candidates. Ensuring the Organization is seeking new platforms to find new volunteers. Ensuring job postings are kept fresh and updated, to invite new volunteers. Ensuring Volunteers have the tools, resources and information they need to be successful in their roles. The Marketing Director will be responsible for managing all marketing activities of the organization, including developing marketing strategies, making marketing budgets by analyzing marketing research, overseeing social media efforts, and collaborating with various teams internally and externally. They will work closely with the Board of Directors and provide leadership to the marketing team. The Marketing Director will oversee the management of social media accounts, create digital content, manage advertising and promotions, and work with other nonprofit organizations to promote our cause. We are building a Team of Graphic Designers to handle the constant needs of our new programs launch, social media demands and more. Volunteers can create their own schedule as long as they meet deadlines. This Team shares the workload so this commitment is easy for everyone and ensures the success of our program launches. In addition, we are looking for individuals who can commit around 15-20 hours per week initially; which should taper off after priority steps have been completed. Role Description These are remote volunteer roles for Volunteer Graphic Designers. The Graphic Designers will create graphics, logo designs, and branding materials for The Animal Cause, Inc. The Graphic Designers will work closely with the organization’s marketing and social media teams. Responsibilities Create eye-catching and compelling visual materials that effectively convey our mission and bring our vision to life; in inspiring, exciting, and educational ways. Assist in maintaining and evolving our brand identity through consistent use of design elements, colors, and typography across all materials. Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment; incorporating changes into designs to create the finished collateral. Participate in project-planning meetings during the design process with team members to determine the schedule, layout, specifications, and final product. Deliver designs within agreed-upon timelines and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Stay up-to-date on current graphic and digital design trends, including awareness on accessibility standards. Role Description These are remote volunteer roles for the Animal Welfare Volunteer Directors of Development for The Animal Cause, Inc. Directors will be responsible for overseeing the organization's fundraising efforts, developing and executing planned giving and annual giving campaigns, managing philanthropic relationships, budgeting, and fundraising. Also responsible for researching and identifying potential grants, preparing grant proposals, and ensuring that grant deadlines are met. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to engage with potential donors, cultivate relationships, and secure donations. This includes identifying and researching potential donors, creating personalized donor appeals, implementing fundraising campaigns, and managing donor databases. Additionally, you will collaborate with the fundraising team to plan and execute fundraising events and initiatives.
