Description

We first opened our doors formally known as Pulse Dream Center in November of 2015. In January of 2018, we opened our new space at 1423 North Church Street. The Dream Center was started as a dream for a community center to serve diverse children, students, and families in Alamance County. We began as the outreach arm of CityGate Church and officially became a non-profit organization in 2018.
We are amazed at what we have been able to accomplish together. Here are some of the Highlights from 2020: - Over 13 weeks we were able to distribute over 19,000 meals and invest over $86,000 dollars in donations directly back into the community through local restaurants and small businesses
- We became the Alamance County location for the NC diaper bank allowing us to distribute countless diapers, wipes, and feminine hygiene products
- Our indoor soccer field, made possible by the City of Burlington, was installed by Hellas (the same turf as the Dallas Cowboys' stadium!) and we had our first soccer tournament
- We have offered a free learning center (pod) for 30 Elementary, Middle School, and High School students providing Wifi, meals, and support during the remote learning experience.
