We’re looking for a volunteer WordPress Website Designer & Developer to help manage and elevate our web presence. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to expand their skills while contributing to a mission-driven team. Key Responsibilities: Rebuild and maintain our website using WordPress and Elementor. Implement design files from Figma to match visual brand standards. Manage content updates and perform regular site maintenance. Ensure website performance, responsiveness, and accessibility. What We're Looking For: Proficiency in WordPress and Elementor (required). Experience implementing Figma designs into live websites. Strong grasp of front-end design (HTML/CSS basics a plus). Detail-oriented with an eye for clean, user-friendly design. Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and manage plugins. Bonus: experience with SEO or website analytics tools. Requirements: Must be available between 10 AM - 3 PM PT on weekdays for team check-ins or collaboration. Hybrid role: occasional in-person meetings or events in the Bay Area. This role goes beyond just posting-you’ll help shape how we show up online, build community, and bring attention to our mission through thoughtful content and storytelling. You’ll be responsible for managing Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn, creating engaging content, and supporting key campaigns that drive awareness and participation. Key Responsibilities: Plan, create, and schedule posts across Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn Design compelling graphics using Canva Develop campaigns to promote blogs, videos, events, and programs Boost visibility and drive traffic to Rcoz initiatives Monitor engagement and respond to DMs/comments in a timely, respectful voice Track performance metrics and suggest ways to increase reach and impact Collaborate with the team to refine our social media and outreach strategy Qualifications: Proven experience managing and growing social media accounts (especially Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn) Familiarity with content boosting, paid promotions, or platform-specific engagement strategies Strong Canva skills and an eye for clean, compelling design Available weekdays between 10 AM - 3 PM PT Based in the Bay Area preferred; hybrid role with occasional in-person meetings/events Reliable, detail-oriented, and aligned with Rcoz’s mission Understanding of South Asian culture is a plus References required before starting

This is currently a volunteer position, but a stipend may be offered after two months depending on funding availability. This role is ideal for someone skilled in venue coordination, vendor negotiations, and on-site event execution. If you thrive in fast-paced environments and have a talent for making things happen, we’d love to have you on board! Location: Hybrid (Bay Area, CA - East & South Bay) Commitment: 4 to 6 hours daily (Pacific Time) Key Responsibilities: Identify and secure venues, negotiate food and beverage deals, and manage vendor partnerships. Coordinate event logistics, including permits, rentals, and setup. Work with sponsors and donors to secure in-kind contributions. Manage on-site event setup, ensuring smooth execution. Handle event-related communications and follow-ups. Must be able to drive and travel to event locations across the East Bay and South Bay. Qualifications: Experience in event planning, logistics, or hospitality. Strong negotiation and budgeting skills. Ability to multitask and problem-solve under pressure.
