During these uncertain times, how can we help?

Our mission is to support Refugee families who have been granted asylum on their journey to become fully integrated, contributing members of our community in the Peninsula and Hampton Roads, Virginia area of the United States.
We do this through a variety of programs including English language immersion, job placement, health screenings, and assistance with identifying housing, transportation, cultural integration, and educational support opportunities with key community partners.
This helps bridge the gap between the short 3-month time period during which Refugees receive assistance after earning official asylum status, and the point at which they will become fully self-sufficient citizens in their communities. Our activities ease the transition to the United States and make sure Refugees have every opportunity to succeed and become productive members of our community, while growing the self-sufficiency and resilience of our families. We serve Refugee families and individuals from all origins, faiths, and backgrounds.
