Microsoft Power Apps Administrator Volunteer Position ***MUST BE IN THE UNITED STATES*** Part time (non-paid) temporary assignment with some availability during evenings and occasional weekends to get project started. Summary: We recently received an Azure Grant from Microsoft and is a small nonprofit with plans to expand. We're looking for a Microsoft Power Apps Administrator to recommend roadmap with design, implementation, and maintenance of Microsoft Power Apps environment within our organization. This role requires understanding of Microsoft power apps functionality, governance, security, and integration with other Microsoft and third-party technologies. The Power Apps Administrator should be comfortable with formulating a roadmap to submit to the board of directors. Key Responsibilities: Design, create, and configure Power Apps environments based on business requirements. Define and enforce governance policies, data standards, and best practices for app development within the Power Apps platform. Set up connectors, gateways, and data sources for seamless data integration. Manage user access, roles, and permissions within Power Apps environments. Implement security measures to ensure data protection and compliance with organizational policies and regulations. Monitor and audit user activity to detect and mitigate potential security risks. Manage version control, updates, and changes to Power Apps applications. Monitor app performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal user experience. Integrate Power Apps with other Microsoft platforms (e.g., SharePoint, Microsoft Teams) and third-party applications to enhance functionality and streamline processes. Develop and manage Power Automate (formerly Flow) workflows to automate business processes. Provide training and support to end users, helping them understand how to use Power Apps effectively. We will receive 5 licenses as part of the grant. Address user inquiries, troubleshoot issues, and provide timely solutions. Develop and maintain documentation, tutorials, and resources to assist users Qualifications: Proficiency in Microsoft Power Apps, including canvas apps and model-driven apps. Strong understanding of data connectors, gateways, and integration patterns. Experience with Microsoft Power Automate (Flow) and other components of the Power Platform is a plus. Familiarity with SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, and other Microsoft 365 services.
