Mission Statement

The National Center for Healthy Veterans is dedicated to improving the physical health, emotional and spiritual well-being of veterans who have pledged their lives for freedom, security, and prosperity. The National Center for Healthy Veterans is a comprehensive scalable solution and a unique strategic initiative that will have a national impact and return health veterans to America. Healthy veterans are productive members of society, good employees, and positive role models, but not all our veterans are healthy. More veterans have committed suicide in the past 10 years than the number of combat deaths in the Vietnam War. Our veterans need America and America needs healthy veterans! We believe that the National Center for Healthy Veterans can achieve the goal of returning healthy veterans back to America by improving their physical health, emotional, and spiritual well-being in a faith-based program aimed at the whole parts of the veteran that desires help.

Description

The purpose of the National Center for Healthy Veterans is to "Return Healthy Veterans to America."

We are confronted with an urgent need. In the last decade alone over 73,000 military experienced men and women have committed suicide; more than all the names engraved on the Vietnam War Memorial. This tragic number increases by roughly 22 veterans a day. A key NCHV objective is to reduce Veteran suicide through the holistic healing environment and sense of community which we will uniquely offer.

The NCHV is comprised of the following: a natural healing environment, dignified work in a farm and ranch setting, community living to defeat isolation, faith-based trauma recovery life skills training and vocational/technical training to achieve maximum employment potential, job placement, and economic opportunity.

All of this is aimed at helping NCHV "Patriots" achieve their full, God-given potential and contribute to American society in every possible way.
