Searching for an enthusiastic Cricut Instructor to teach a 4 week after-school program to youth in the Hermosa neighborhood of Chicago. Ideal candidate is community - focused, has a desire to inspire and educate students, with a passion for crafting with a Cricut machine. Hours are after school - one day a week for 4 weeks. Volunteers needed in the following areas: - General volunteer help: Help with community events, set up and break down, help promote vision of Hermosa Neighborhood Association, promote after school activities and youth programs, pass out flyers in the community. - Education Outreach Coordinator: Relationship development of schools and educational gaps in the Hermosa area, communication with school leadership, supplemental program development and implementation. - Spanish-speaker Community Outreach: Volunteers who speak fluent Spanish to engage with underserved community members and connect them with services and extend their stability in the Hermosa community.
