Description

As a member of the United Nations Major Group for Children and Youth (UNMGCY),
Helping Hand International was first established in 2016 in India, and works on youth
empowerment, capacity building, awareness advocacy, social activism, humanitarian
engagements, and global partnerships for the SDGs. The Switzerland Branch was
founded in November 2020, working under this main vision with specific focus on:
equity (especially gender and race), access to policy making and justice, human
rights, civil participation, health awareness (especially COVID-19), income
generation, education, environmental protection, promoting the mentality of peace,
and cultivating a next generation of righteous leaders. Through local efforts and
collaboration with global partners and other HHI branches, HHI Switzerland
contributes to rights protection, shared prosperity, and sustainable development via
people-centered and result-focused initiatives.
