Description

1 in 5 US households includes a child with special health needs. Because they often put their children's needs above their own, parents of children with special health care needs are over twice as likely to report being usually or always stressed, over 2.5 times as likely to report being in fair/poor mental health, and nearly twice as likely to report being in fair/poor physical health.

Life coaching is the cornerstone of our program offerings. In this program, caregivers/parents of children with special health care needs receive three months of life coaching services. At the conclusion of the initial three-month program, the coach and member make a recommendation for continued services from the organization.
