Mission Statement

Creating awareness regarding the dangers of illegal street racing and traffic safety among the youth About the founder: Lili Trujillo Puckett is the founder and Executive Director of STREET RACING KILLS Lili founded Street Racing Kills (SRK) in 2014, in California after her 16-year-old daughter Valentina Dalessandro was killed by a young man who was street racing and crashed while giving her and her friends a ride home. She knew then that her daughter’s death would not be in vain, and that she would do everything she could to prevent a parent from losing a child. Lili’s life changed forever that day. With Valentina by her side in spirit, her mission was set to save lives by mentoring and creating awareness among the youth.

SRK is committed to reaching not only the general population but also targeted groups of young people that often go underserved.

From facilitating our programs directly to students to providing community service opportunities to young people who want to cultivate better personal accountability, we employ a multifaceted approach to stop the #1 killer of teens: preventable car crashes.

We actively give speeches and presentations at high schools, colleges, diversion programs, and community events. Our effective and heartfelt programs go beyond driving school in regards to awareness. Our teen and youth traffic safety programs include video and PowerPoint presentations by victim speakers, awareness materials, police officers’ emotional testimonials, and role-playing activities.
