Open Rainbow Residence provides supportive housing options to adult members 21 & up of the LGBTQ community by offering a safe and stable environment along with guidance. We prepare our residents to shape a future characterized by hope, self confidence, dignity and purpose

Description

Open Rainbow Residence is in the infancy stages of receiving individuals into our business to perform intakes and assessments, to determine what the individual client need is, based on basic needs, mental health, drug/alcohol, homelessness, housing assistance, health related needs....all of which we can either serve and/or make referrals. We are in the midst of securing property for which to use as our headquarters to enable our business to be marketed in New York City. Primarily we wanted to initiate our services for at least 3-5 days a week with some Saturdays.

Our goal is to seek funding initially to secure revenue for operating space and basic daily operating needs (rent, utilities, office furniture, a small computer lab with 2-5 computers, etc.).
