Mission Statement

As a member of the TruCare Hospice Volunteer Program you will have the unique opportunity to offer care and comfort to terminally ill patients and their families to contribute to the quality of their lives and to support patients and their families in their bereavement process. Being a hospice volunteer is sacred work; there are opportunities for tremendous joy and personal bonds that will change us forever! Within the sacred we will experience loss. In helping to provide compassionate rest-of-the-life-care, we are given the opportunity to examine a new dimension of reality in dealing with out own lives and deaths. By working we with terminally ill, we learn how to truly live.

Description

TruCare is a hospice company dedicated to serving our patients as best as possible and making sure they feel like family. We have been open since 2016 and we are still standing on the same values from 4 years ago: Integrity, dedication and providing comfort for our patients and their family during a difficult time.

Our volunteer program is designed to help us provide the best care for our patients as well whether this be with direct patient interaction or administrative work which is also vital for the success of our company. When COVID-19 has come to a point where we are allowed to be back in the facility there will be more patient-volunteer interaction. For now most of our volunteering will be help with the administrative work which can provide valuable experience for those looking for a potential career in the medical field.
