Mission Statement

The Valdez Adventure Alliance seeks to improve the quality of life for residents and visitors of all ages through outdoor access, resources, education, and events.

Description

  • We create outdoor resources, programs, and events that: improve physical and mental health; provide wholesome family bonding activities; and strengthen community.

  • We advocate to increase outdoor recreation access and participation by under-represented populations including: mobility challenged, girls, women, minorities, and those who are economically disadvantaged.

  • We develop, improve, maintain, and manage outdoor recreation infrastructure, especially in a manner it can best serve under-represented populations.

  • We provide outdoor educational activities in environmental stewardship, skills, and safety.
