Mission Statement

The Farmacy Initiative was created to improve the health, wellness and prosperity of our communities by inspiring, educating, and equipping children and their communities with the tools they need to plant and care for gardens.

Description

We started our organization on the basis of wanting to provide everyone we can with a source of healthy food. To do this, we began installing gardens into schools, and teaching the students how to care and maintain these gardens with hands-on curriculum we have created. Students are completely involved with the garden installation so they can connect with the full process of where their food comes from. Since starting with schools and reaching more than 1000 students, we have also installed multiple home gardens, and are working on our first community garden. We believe food is thy medicine and will continue our mission so that everyone can have access to healthy foods, through garden installations and education.
