Mission Statement

Dent Education promotes equity by empowering under-resourced youth to discover and develop their innate creative potential to shape the world around them.

Made@Dent (www.madeatdent.com) is a social enterprise, co-owned by Baltimore youth and non-profit Dent Education (denteducation.org) , that builds human-centered products to meet community needs, beginning with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Who are Essential Denters?

Essential Denters (EDs) are adults who are crucial to helping our Baltimore City youth run and operate Made@Dent as we build towards our goal of building 75,000 face shields. So far, EDs have helped students earn over $48,000 and create over 30,000 shields for frontline workers!
