NCT is a women and child-centric non-profit organization in India that promotes the rights and development of children and women in Andhra Pradesh. A healthy and empowered woman defends her rights and ensures a right-based development for her children. This project assignment is closely interconnected with our objectives SDG 3 and SDG 5. According to the National Centre for Disease Informatics and Research (NCDIR) Registry program report in 2020, stated that more than 200,000 women were estimated to have been diagnosed with breast cancer, and there were an estimated 76,000 deaths in the country. This assignment requires extensive research on the impact of breast cancer. This concept note specifically targets vulnerable women groups from marginalized communities who are ignorant of breast cancer or cervical cancer and become victims of cancer. The purpose behind this concept note (1) educating women about breast cancer and cervical cancer, (2) self-examinations of breast cancer. The selected volunteer will design a concept note on screening and early detection of breast cancer in women in Andhra Pradesh, India. The volunteer will work on a pre-formatted concept form with word limits for each section. The concept note contains nine questionnaires. Volunteers are requested to keep us updated on their progress. We need the first draft by the early second week and the final draft by the end of the second week. We are available on MS Teams or Skype for volunteers to contact us for any clarifications or suggestions other than usual email support. Interested volunteer should tell us briefly about you and why you are the suitable candidate for this volunteer opportunity.
