Mission Statement

CodeMakers is a youth empowerment through science and technology education NPO. We empower and educate young people to see themselves as the leaders and creators of tomorrow. SuperScientists, the project we are recruiting volunteers for, draws scientists as the superheroes they are and gets them into the hands of young people to educate and inspire them.

Description

CodeMakers has been working with young people since 2015. Our projects have included teaching coding fundamentals to hundreds of learns, the translation of the free coding education Scratch, into isiZulu, the creation of career video interviews, and now SuperScientists. We have a variety of volunteer opportunities, please be in touch.
