Tare Zameen Foundation is seeking highly motivated volunteers and interns for its USA team in Fall 2020 and Spring 2021. If you’re inspired by making a difference in people's lives, are passionate about finding solutions to deep-rooted social and economic inequalities in a global context and want to work with marginalized and minority communities then we want to hear from you.

Description

Tare Zameen Foundation is a non-profit organization registered in 2018 based in New Delhi, India. We work with the most vulnerable and marginalized members of our community and society and are focused on changing lives.

Our goal is to ensure that people in India do not face discrimination, inequality or poverty on the basis of their gender, caste, physical disabilities or economic backgrounds.

The Foundation’s key focus areas across India include:

  • Improving sanitation and hygiene
  • Healthcare and health education
  • Sustainable Development
  • Health Rehabilitation & Skills development for people with disabilities (Divyangjan)
  • Women’s empowerment
  • Inclusive and easily accessible education for vulnerable children
  • Youth and skills development
