Mission Statement

Our mission is to provide English literacy skills to adults in our community, to assist them in achieving their full potential. We seek volunteer tutors to help adult students learn to read, speak, and write English. No foreign language or teaching experience required, only basic English literacy and a sincere desire to serve. Free 15-hour training provided. Requires a one year commitment to tutor up to two hours per week. Most tutors tell us this is one of the most rewarding experiences they have ever had.
